Certified Healthy Role Models & Trainer Graduates
Our certified trainer graduates have degrees in nursing, teaching or in a related field. They may teach our Certified Healthy Role Model (CHRM) course
and the trainers course. Both courses utilize the same format and require
completion of the Foundation For Living trainer's test with a score of 90+.
Each may be offered in a weekly format for four weeks or in a twenty hour retreat setting. The primary difference between them is the level of education
of the participant.
Both our CHRM and Trainer Graduates may teach our Foundation For Living curriculum to the general public in order to facilitate completion of our FFL consumer's test, and charge up to $55 per person in accordance with what the market will bear. The course content may be presented in a group setting or
on an individual basis.
Students pay $155 for the twenty hour CHRM course which is taught in a
group setting by a Trainer Graduate. Upon completion of required classwork,
the test (score 90+) and other course requirements, students receive a Certified Healthy Role Model certificate. A one year membership to the Seven Day Health Network and attendance at our health events is also included.
CHRM's may have a listing on our website.
Students who receive our Trainer Graduate certification may teach the twenty hour CHRM course and train other qualified students to become trainers. Both course fees are the same. There is a $45 material fee and an additional $100 certification fee for the Trainer Graduates.
This fee will include their bio, a link to their own website for one year
and two free nights lodging in Casa de la Vida Sana as our guests.
Our Certified Training Sites may employ Trainer Graduates to teach the Foundation For Living curriculum to the populations they serve. The purpose
is to facilitate completion of our consumer's test. In addition to the fee the
CTS charges the student, $35 is paid to Seven Day Living Institute for a certificate, grading of their test, and an annual membership for the first year.
This membership includes 10% discounts on the services and products of our Health Network members and attendance at our monthly health events, providing they are being offered at the time.
The CHRM certification looks great on a resume!
When a CHRM has taught our curriculum to the general public successfully
for one year and passed the interview process, s/he may apply for our
Trainer Graduate certification.
Sustainable Community Activists and Sustainable Living Educators
The CHRM certificate program is based on our Foundation For Living curriculum Part I (Personal Development) and is a prerequisite for Foundation For Living Part II (Community Development). When a Certified Healthy Role Model completes the requirements for Part II, our Sustainable Community Activist certification program, they will receive an additional certification as a Sustainable Living Educator.
